Malik Khan has over 25 years of experience spanning investment banking and shipping, with professional exposure across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. He founded HighWater Capital following a track record in ship ownership and investment through CapeShore Maritime Partners, which he established in 2011 as a maritime investment boutique focused on proprietary vessel investments, operations, and recycling. Under his leadership, CapeShore completed over 100 vessel acquisitions and disposals before its successful exit in 2020.
Earlier in his career, Malik held senior investment banking roles with ORIX Group and United Capital Bank, advising on corporate finance, privatizations, restructurings, and joint ventures. He began his career with Raymond James and Bankers Trust.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology from the University of Rochester, USA, and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, UK.

He has over 35 years of experience in the maritime industry across ship management, commercial operations, commodities trading, and chartering. He is the Founder of Clearwater Chartering, Spain, operating mini-bulk and project cargo vessels under long-term Time Charters for biomass shipments across Europe, and serves as Chartering Advisor to a leading French biomass electricity supplier.
Previously, he headed commercial management at Integra Fuels S.L., Spain, completing over 250 Handysize fixtures covering biomass, logs, and aggregates, and served as Commercial Director at CapeShore Maritime Partners, overseeing its bulk fleet operations.
Earlier, he held senior chartering roles with Europe West Indie Lijnen BV and Richco BV, managing COAs and liner services for container, MPP, Panamax, and Handy vessels. He began his career in 1983 with Oost Atlantic Lijn BV, later working with Olie Scheepvaart B.V. and Combine Shipping & Chartering B.V.
He holds a Master’s Certificate (up to 5,500 BRT) from the Nautical College, Rotterdam, and is fluent in Dutch, English, German, and Spanish.

A 25+ years veteran banker specializing in structured asset and ship finance. Former Head of Ship Finance at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, with senior roles at BNP Paribas, Fortis, and DVB Bank. Deep expertise in credit, portfolio management and market risk.
Since July 2020, he has operated his own independent advisory business out of the UAE advising shipowners, as well clients in the financial services sector. Focused on capital raising from banks, finance institutions and other investors in Europe, the US, Asia and, in particular from Chinese leasing houses.
He holds a BA in Hispanic Studies, is a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), and has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.

He has over five decades of experience in the shipping industry, including 14 years at sea—four of which were in command—and more than 40 years in the management of ships and shipping companies.
He began his onshore career in 1974 with Gulf East Ship Management, Hong Kong, under Capt. Vanderperre, widely regarded as the father of modern ship management. Promoted to Operations Manager in 1975 and Managing Director in 1976, he led Gulfeast Ship Management Ltd. through a decade of exceptional growth, expanding its managed fleet from four aging vessels to an average of 65 ships ranging from 10,000 DWT multipurpose vessels to 300,000 DWT VLCCs. During his tenure, the company operated training vessels that produced more than 500 deck and engine cadets.
His technical management experience also includes oversight of 20 newbuilding projects (15,000 DWT–75,000 DWT) in Japan, South Korea, and Brazil.In 1987, he founded Terra Marine, which continues to provide professional ship management and consultancy services to clients such as Aeolos Management S.A., Bernhard Schulte Ship Management, Kuwait Oil Tanker Company, Nakilat Shipping (Qatar), Shell Ship Management Ltd., Far Seas Shipping, Wallem Ship Management Ltd., Smit Lamnalco, Sea Bright Ship Management, Linda Ace Shipping, and Sunrise International Ship Management Co. Ltd.
He holds a Master Mariner’s Certificate of Competency.

He is a marine engineer with over 35 years of technical shipping experience. He is the founder of Bosa Marine Services, Turkey, and leads all operational and managerial management for ship repairs, inspections, dry docking, etc., for various vessel types. Before this, he worked with Tuna Shipping, Turkey, where he held several senior positions within the technical group, managing technical operations of over ten vessels, including maintenance, repairs, and supervision of newbuild projects and vessel conversions in China and Turkey. In his previous employments, he has engaged extensively with applying alternative fuels in deep-sea shipping for forming and controlling emissions and engine efficiency.
He has also served with Rayban Shipping, Turkey, as a Technical Manager, where he led teams for managing dry docking and ship repairs. He is a graduate of Istanbul Technical University in Marine Engineering and started his sea career in 1983 with DB Deniz Nakliyat as an engineer officer and sailed as Chief Engineer for over five years with different kinds of vessels, including bulk, general cargo, and tankers (between 30,000 dwt – 100,000 dwt).

He is a seasoned finance and banking professional with over 25 years of international experience spanning the United States, Middle East, and United Kingdom. He has built a distinguished career in corporate finance, commercial banking, and real estate project finance, with a proven record of driving business development, capital raising, and investor engagement.
As Managing Director of Agenzia Capital LLC, Nabeel has structured and executed complex financing solutions for corporates, developers, and SMEs, while cultivating long-term relationships with sovereign wealth funds, private bankers, and institutional investors. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President at Noor Bank, where he managed a liability book of USD 2 billion and an asset book exceeding USD 1 billion. He also held senior roles at Barclays Bank and other leading financial institutions. He holds a BBA in Finance from Georgia State University.

He is an accomplished shipping professional with nearly a decade of experience in the commercial operation and chartering of dry bulk and general cargo vessels. Over his career, he has successfully managed a diverse fleet ranging from Baby Capes, Panamaxes, and Handymaxes to smaller bulkers, general cargo carriers, and oil/chemical tankers.
His expertise is particularly strong in the dry bulk segment, where he has consistently fixed grain, rice, and other agricultural commodities across major global trade routes. He brings proven capabilities in negotiating and executing voyage and time charter contracts, vessel employment planning, and fixture optimization, aligning commercial objectives with operational performance. His strong engagement with charterers, commodity houses, and shipowners has secured repeat fixtures and built long-term relationships in the grain and rice trades.
He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Finance from the University of South Australia.
